“I am a qualified nursery nurse and have 15 years of experience caring for children ranging from 0-6 years of age. I have worked in various roles within the childcare sector, including nursery management, which has given me the skills to provide a consistently safe and nurturing environment for the children.

I love working with children, and I am passionate about being a positive role model. I feel it is important for children to have a good start in life-whilst being able to learn and be inspired through play.”

Bio:

“I have 17 years’ experience within early years to include the overall management of a 200+ place early years provision in Bahrain as a Principal.  Here I was responsible for 65 staff and the provision followed the English curriculum (EYFS) as well as general Ofsted guidelines. “

Bio:

“I’m a qualified teaching assistant with over 17 years experience working within schools with children aged between 2-11 years as well as with SENDs children. I believe that every child is unique and should be treated as an individual. For me teaching is more than just a job, I am passionate about providing children the opportunities and experiences, within a warm, loving, environment to enable them to flourish.”

Bio:

“Having worked as a teaching assistant in a local primary school for the last two years, I have up-to-date knowledge of the school curriculum, specifically within Key Stage One. I am also currently studying for a degree in Educational Studies at Staffordshire University, with the main areas of study being Early Childhood Development and Safeguarding Children.”

“I have been working with children for 6 years, primarily as a dance teacher and sports coach but also in a childcare setting through charities and buddy programmes at school. This experience provided me with the knowledge and confidence to work in our setting at School of Play UPS. My aim for the children at is to feel they are in a safe, supportive, creative and most importantly fun space where they can experience new activities and develop skills that will continue to help them grow. I am passionate about being a positive role model in the lives of the children we teach and hopefully assisting them in getting the best out of their experience with us.”

I have always loved being creative; doing DIY and crafts, so being able to create fun and exciting activities for our children to do always brings me great joy! I have a background in Performance, and love to bring this to work, whether it is doing acting sessions with the older children or dressing up with them and creating fun and exciting experiences in costume and film work!”

I am a qualified dance and gymnastics coach, and I have been working with children for four years. I have gained valuable experience through coaching, and it has inspired me to provide support to children throughout their education and development, in fun and active ways.

“I was once a volunteer in Thailand, teaching English, and I was part of a turtle conservation project. I also spent a year living in San Francisco working as an Au Pere.”
