Here at School of Play, we believe that children are natural inventors. With the right environment, they can build, dream, and innovate amazing ideas. Hence, the theme of our May/June half-term holiday camps: “Idea Engineers”.
From decoding mysteries to building inventions, our holiday camp programme is packed with hands-on activities, themed games, multi-sports adventures, arts and crafts, collaborative missions, and problem-solving challenges to develop their STEM skills – all while having maximum fun!

How much does it cost?
Our Idea Engineers themed holiday camps cost:
£25.49 – £30.49 per day (9am – 5pm)
Early drop off: £1.49 – 2.99 per day (from 8am)
Late collection: £1.49 – £2.99 per day (until 6pm at most locations – see camp pages for more details)
Prices may vary depending on the camp venue.
What are your opening times?
Normal Day: 9am – 5pm

Do you offer half day sessions?
No, unfortunately we only offer full day sessions.
What age range can children attend from?
Create Groups: 3 years & 6 months – 11 years old
Sports Groups: 5 -11 years old
Children must be fully toilet trained to attend our camp – please read our omission policy for more information
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
Yes, we accept childcare voucher payments. Please speak to your employer to find out which childcare voucher company they are registered with.

Does my child have to attend the host school?
No, children from any school are welcome to attend our holiday camps.
Do you provide food?
No, your child will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a drink.
Please ensure your child’s packed lunch doesn’t contain nuts or sesame, or anything that contains these two ingredients.
Please cut small round fruits like grapes into small pieces (quarters). Cut large and firm fruits like apples into slices instead of small chunks.
What does my child need to bring?

How do I make a booking?

To book your child onto our holiday club, simply log in to your online account and follow the easy-to-navigate booking steps.
If you are using us for the first time, you will need to create an account and provide us with all the relevant information requested.

> Receive instant notifications of accidents and incidents involving your child.
Can I book over the phone?
Unfortunately not, all bookings must be made via our online system. If you are struggling to set up an account or make a booking, please contact us on info@schoolofplay.org.uk or call us on 0161 726 5022.
How will I know if I have secured a place?
Once you’ve booked your child’s place via our online system, you should automatically receive a confirmation email which will include an invoice of your booking. You can also view your bookings and invoices at any time by logging into your online account.
What happens if I need to cancel my child's place?
From the initial booking, we allow a 48 hour cooling off period in which you can cancel and receive a full refund with no extra cost. Please note the cooling off period will not apply if your booking is created less than 48 hours before your child’s first session.
You can cancel after this period up until 72 hours before the start date of your booking. You will receive full credit back into your wallet on iPal. No cash refunds will be given.
If you cancel 24-72 hours before the start date of your booking, you will receive 50% credit back into your iPal wallet. No cash refunds will be given.
Cancellations within 24 working hours of a booking or after the first session of a booking will not be refunded or credited. Cancellations for a Monday will need to be made by the previous Friday before 9am to qualify for a partial refund.
If your child becomes unwell inside the non-refundable period and you inform us before the session, we will provide a full 100% credit note for you to use towards a future session.
